| The Goethe-Institut Cyprus invites you to the opening of the Exhibition "The Path to German Unification" on coming Monday, 12 October 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the exhibition hall of Goethe-Institut. The Exhibition will be on until 13th November 2015. The year 2015 marks the 25th anniversary of the German reunification. The poster exhibition "The Path to German Unity" illustrates with more than 150 photographs and facsimiles, how the peaceful revolution in the GDR in autumn 1989 lead to the reunification of Germany on 3 October 1990, and how the protests in the GRD brought unexpectedly the issue of the German reunification back on the international negotiating table.
