| On the occasion of the World Peace Day, the Goethe-Institut Cyprus in cooperation with the Association for Historical Dialogue & Research (AHDR) and the Cinema for Peace Foundation (Berlin) invite you for afilm evening on the topic of “overcoming borders” on 21st September 2015 at the Home of Cooperation and at the Goethe-Institut Cyprus in Nicosia. The evening is going to start at 7 p.m. with the screening of the film "The Syrian Bride" (France/Israel/Germany; director: Eran Riklis; feature film; 98 min.; language: English; 2005) at the "Home for Cooperation" in Nicosia. At the same venue will follow a reception, at 8 p.m. (supported by Cinema for Peace/Berlin). The evening will close with the screening of the film "Westwind" (Germany, Hungary – 2010/11, director: Robert Thalheim; feature film; 89 min; 2010/11; Language: German with English subtitles) starting at 21:15 on the premises of Goethe-Institut Cyprus.
