The Cypriot Drummer group MA.GAIA will cross the Green Line starting from the Eleftheria Square through the checkpoint to the Selemiye Mosque in a rhythmic sound procession using the lanes and places as a creative background for the creation of a healing process of the wounds of the island. Waking up people with the sound of the drums to tell them it is high time as it once was for Berlin 20 years ago. High time to stand up for peace.

Trommeln überschreiten die grüne Linie

 Die zyprische Trommlerinnengruppe MA.GAIA führt eine rhythmische Klangprozession durch vom Eleftheria Platz zur Selimiye-Moschee (Ag. Sophia-Kathedrale), indem sie den öffentlichen Raum auf kreative Weise in Anspruch nimmt, um so zum Heilungsprozess der Insel beizutragen. Die Gruppe tut dies in Erinnerung an die Stadt Berlin, von der man bis vor einigen Jahren glaubte, sie werde niemals wiedervereinigt noch je wieder aufgebaut.
