The Meeting Point presents the photographic exhibition entitled ‘Cooperation’, which resulted from a photography contest, open to local and international photographers, which was organized by The Meeting Point last Spring.

... More than 400 photographs were entered into the competition, both from Cyprus and across the world (India, Bangladesh, Canada, U.S.A., Qatar, Hungary, Finland, U.K. etc.). Cooperation takes on a new meaning through the exquisite images that made it to the final exhibition and are eligible to win the awards!

Mr. Georgios Markopouliotis, Head of the EC Representation in Cyprus, will give an opening speech and will present the winners with the Awards.

The Jury, comprising of three professional Cypriot photographers- Vassos Stylianou ABIPP, Kerim Belet and Avo Mangoian- will announce the winning photographs and will inaugurate the exhibition, which will remain open until the 10th July 2013. Apart from the main competition, the judges will also award the Best Teenage Photographer in the special teenage category (13 – 18 years of age).
