The Art Space Apocalypse Gallery invites to the opening of a painting exhibition of Nicholas Panayi

The exhibition is on display from 12-27 May , 10.30 -13.00 and 14.30 - 20 on weekdays, 10.30 – 14.00 on Saturdays

Nicholas Panayi has his own studio in the old city of Nicosia(South) in a parallel road to Ledra Street where many art events take place, also others than his own, for example of his own art school which I have visited some years ago.  His teaching programme includes painting, sculpture, video art, printing etc.  Once a year he takes his art school students to places of interest abroad like Portugal Holland, Cuba, Czechia.

Nicholas is the representative of E.KA.TE, the Cyprus Chamber of Arts,  for the region of Nicosia and has been working for many bi-communal activities such as Open Studios and Art Aware Talks and exhibitions together with EMAA, the art association in the North.  His vision is Peace and Understanding, reaching out hands over borders which is the subject of his paintings.  My interview with him is included in my book “Art and Creativity” which will come out soon.
