In the framework of the event series Weeks of the German language the Goethe-Institut Cyprus in collaboration with DAAD organizes an information event about “Study in Germany” at the exhibition hall of the Goethe-Institut Cyprus in Nicosia on Thursday 2nd of November 2017 at 5.30 p.m.

The aim of the event is to provide you with general information about the topic “Study in Germany”. Among others, the following points will be discussed: the German Higher Education Institutions, programs and courses, financial aspects of studying in Germany. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is the largest funding organization in the world supporting the international exchange of students and scholars. Since it was founded in 1925, more than 1.5 million scholars in Germany and abroad have received DAAD funding.

Im Rahmen der Veranstaltungsreihe Wochen der deutschen Sprache organisiert das Goethe-Institut in Zusammenarbeit mit dem DAAD die Informationsveranstaltung „Studium in Deutschland“ am Donnerstag, dem 2. November 2017 um 17.30 Uhr im Veranstaltungssaal des Goethe-Instituts in Nikosia.

Es wird ein Überblick über die deutsche Hochschullandschaft und deren Studienangebote gegeben sowie die finanziellen Rahmenbedingungen. Der Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst gehört heute zu den bedeutendsten Förderorganisationen für den internationalen Austausch von Studierenden und Wissenschaftlern. Seit seiner Gründung 1925 haben mehr als 1,5 Millionen Stipendiaten in Deutschland und im Ausland ein DAAD Stipendium bekommen.
