Reclaiming the Pulse - A Weekend Drumming Workshop (tambourine) with Layne Redmond master percussionist and author

Layne Redmond returns to Cyprus for her yet another magically transformative drumming workshop, ready to inspire us with her passion for the frame drum, one of the most sacred ritual instruments of the ancient Mediterranean world and the goddess Aphrodite. Gathering in a circle, we will focus on the power behind the rhythms to connect us to the energies
of the sun and the earth and, through the sounds, to the elemental energies of earth, water, fire and air.

Tambourines will be available to use at the workshop and for sale. No previous experience is necessary. The workshop is supported by the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Culture.
