30th anniversary of the foundation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus

To celebrate the event artists have been invited to participate in the activities around this important day. The TRNC is 30 years young. There will be an exhibition with 18 Turkish Cypriot artists showing their work in the Atatürk Cultural Centre in Nicosia from November 19 – 29; viewing times are the governmental office hours.

The exhibition will be opened on November 19 at 18.30 hrs., followed by a concert with acclaimed musicians and singers at 19:30 hrs. The event is organised by the Ministry of Economy, Tourism, Culture and Sports. I will attend and will report in the next issue.

The invitation distributed by the Ministry did not contain the names of the musical performers, I learnt only much later their names shortly before the concert, so I add them here now.
