Lecturer Nail Özlüsoylu explained that digital art photography is only part of graphic design he lectures and he is quite proud of the students’ works. It is not only the technical side of it students have to learn but also to use their senses to make a project a piece of art. The works displayed were in three categories: fashion, portrait and social and some of them were really good in the way of composition and manifestation. All the portraits were of elderly and old people, people in the street, no beautiful young people, and when asked, the students answered: there are more stories in these faces. How wise of them to recognize this often neglected simple truth and pay respect to this important part of our society.
The samples I picked for publication are not necessarily because of my appreciation of quality but to show the various themes. We can be sure that these students are on the right way. Congratulations.
