The exhibition of work done represents an exclamation mark, an assessment of its values, a recapitulation of its working stages and also an invitation to those interested in the creative idea as such, especially when it is a relatively new creative idea in the local art scene such as paper art, or rather the art of paper making.

Despite the very short notice invitation many guests filled the rooms of ARUCAD ART SPACE in Nicosia (in one of the streets behind the Saray Hotel) to see the results of the workshop from Sep 11-14 held by the ‘Association of Cyprus Paper Artists (ACPA) at ARUCAD University in Kyrenia. Oya Silbery, artist and curator, did a great job with her exhibition team to present the small size works in a pleasant and vivid way.

Inci Kansu and Ismet Tatar, founding members and former and present president of the association received the compliments from the viewers for a very successful workshop which finally is the reward for all the time and energy consuming days of a workshop with all its preparations.
