paintings -> life drawings
"Drawing with pencil, charcoal, pastel and ink are for me a
very important exercise to train hand and eye, especially with life models. It
is my aim to show with as few lines as possible the essence of a pose but still
try to create a complete picture.
The drawings were done between 2006 and 2008 with different models using mostly
A2 and A3 heavy weight paper, sometimes with a wash or drawing underneath prior
to the life session, sometimes also using old drawings or water colours, just
to prove that nothing can prevent the new drawing to become obvious but giving
it a new story. ."
